The Bay Motel is a non smoking property. Guests are asked to respect our property and the comfort of others at all times. Outside smoking is permitted away from doors and windows where bins are provided.

We are located within walking distance to a wide range of cafes, restaurants & bars. We also have a variety of restaurants who will deliver directly to your door. We do have small continental breakfast boxes available at reception and outdoor BBQ facilities available for guests.

The beach is 250 meters from our doorstep. We do not have a pool.

Our reception hours are 8am – 8pm, 7 days a week.

Yes you certainly can. Just contact our reception on 03 5987 2311 before 8pm for the late check-in procedure.

Check-in time is 2pm, however, if you arrive earlier, luggage storage is available and you’re welcome to utilize our motel facilities. A request for early check-in can be made with Reservations but cannot be guaranteed.

Check out time is 10am. Depending on availability an extended checkout maybe available until 11am. Requests for checkouts after 11am will incur a fee.

Reservations for December & January require a deposit of the 1st night’s tariff payable at the time of booking or one month out from arrival date (whichever is the latest) and the Reservation paid in full on arrival. For all other periods, the booking must be secured with a $75 deposit by a valid credit card and in the event of a “no show” the 1st night’s accommodation cost will be charged. For Special events, Group Bookings or bookings greater than 7 nights a 50% non refundable deposit may be required at the time of booking. If cancelled within 14 days of arrival date, then the remaining balance will be charged.
